Default Hawk Brake Pads on Sale- Best price PLUS Free Shipping!

We have Hawk Brake Pads for the C5 and C6 Corvette on sale. This includes the following compounds-
  • HPS- Better performing than stock carbon based pad
  • Performance Ceramic- My personal favorite, these ceramic pads perform about the same as HPS, but have very low noise and dust!
  • HP PLUS - This is a high performance, aggressive carbon compound racing pad designed for track use. It should not be used on a daily driver because it is noisy, and hard on rotors.
You can order these off our website at the link below. Also note that all orders over $250 get FREE SHIPPING! If you have questions, call us @ 443-730-9428!

How does the initial "bite" of the ceramics feel compared to the stock Z06 pads? To the HPS?

Newbe and still exploring:

Can the Performance Ceramic be used for both track and street, and if used agressively on the track, (HPDE) can you reasonably project the longevity? I am considering DT60 rear, DT 70 front for the track, but would be very happy if I could find a combo to avoid changing pads every other week when I go to/from the track.
Thanks much

I would not use performance ceramic in an "aggressive" track situation.

Default 08 ZO6 brakes

Hello all...I am new here as of today !...looking at the Ceramics, but are the one/two piece a direct swap out for the 6 individual pads?...and should rotors be turned(lathed) before installing new pads?...thanks in advance

They are replacements. Turning the rotors would depend on their current state and if they need it. Thanks!

Own a 2009 C6 Coupe. Never tracked and isn't a daily driver either. Tired of the brake dust and have a slight "squeak" in the left rear (I think) from the stock pads. Think others on the forum have mentioned this noise too.

Wanting to replace the pads. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I have a few questions concerning ZO6/GS brakes:

1. In general, how many "daily driver miles" can you get out of GM pads? I realize this variable but generality is fine.

2. Does changing brake pads "early" protect the rotors? I've heard you cannot turn the stock rotors repeatedly, if at all?

3. How often do you have these pads on sale. I'm not currently in need of brakes @ 4500 miles but I'm tired of dust and always appreciate a deal.

Thanks for the help and insight

JJ
