Awesome!
You can always buy the parts for the brakes and put them on later. Just like this guy did to his C5: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-z...s-inquiry.html

while i agree with this statement i would like to point out that Buds is selling a car exactly like mine on ebay for 81,300.
so based on that i would say i will already have 5,000 in equity the day i take delivery!
based on that, i feel pretty justified purchasing it.

I'm bringing this thread up as I'm in the process of buying a Corvette.
I've been considering both the GS and Z06.
On one hand, I can buy a 2012 GS 4lt, 16,000miles, for 40k$.
On the other hand, there is a 2012 Z07, Centennial, 6000miles, for 55k$.
Of course the price is different, but I'm not concerned about the actual price but the resale value in 3-4 years. Which one will lose less overall value in your opinion?
Logic says the higher priced car should lose more, but the GS is much more common... Tough call.

That said, those two cars are barely related - the Z07 is leaps and bounds a better car, regardless of price.
