Good thing I drive a Z06... That has a D-1SC Procharger on the way next week!

And I still choose the Camaro SS over anything with a blue oval on it.

I love it when guys who probably drive a civic or ranger chime in on posts with their 2 cents.

I guess you don't have to hide behind those avatars anymore.
That is a shame, because I always liked them.

THIS IS CORVETTE FORUM!!!! NOT MUSTANG FORUM!!!! (In the "Ghey" posters defense) To each their own I say, and I AM AMERICAN, ALL THE WAY!!!! At least it's an AMERICAN car, but it's something I would never buy.

The OP made a witty, tongue-in-cheek post and some of us just can't seem to resist taking the thread in a negative direction. Sheesh.

My garage has a z06, GTO and mustang. If the z06 was white it would be a red white and blue garage.

Loving the car. Got the windows tinted today. The Camaro is a nice car but this is a nice car too. We drove both and she liked the Mustang more. I didn't put a penny out for it. Price was $31700 pretty much loaded. Auto, remote start, HIDs, etc. Sticker was $38k but Ford had some nice rebates going.

Yes they have nice converters already. People with basic blowers/tires/gears/converters are going 9s on pump gas. For a drag car it would be a fun toy.

Keeps up against Corvette technology from a decade ago?

Congrats to your wife on the new car. I like them..... except Ford really messed up the back end on the new ones.

Congrats to the OP! Car looks great too! I love all the American pony car competition...drives the manufactures harder and harder...they're all putting out some nice cars these days!

That being said, I also agree with Daleford...not too fond of the newer Stang's rear appearances...

The mustang looks nice, But be careful with the transmission. The tranny was designed in germany but jobbed out to China. They are dropping like flys. first it was the road course cars with failures, then it started happening to the autocrossed cars and now the street cars are having failures. The race team I was speaking to is a Ford Motorsport partner and Fords solution for the failures is to have the shops swap in the Cobra's T56 style tranny.
Also the base 6-speed has many internal partrs that are not replaceable so they are swaping out complete units when they come in under warrentee claims. something was said about bearing races being cast into the cases and not serviceable

We got the 6 speed auto because the manual is junk. Plus a stalled auto is a ton of fun. People are going mid 9s on the stock auto without issues. It will be more than enough for the wife.

Can't swap in a T56 in the manauls because of the electronics. You can but you lose your speedo until someone comes up with a solution.

Default A House Divided

Saw this post and had to post a pic of our garage. Wifey has the 2011 Shelby GT500 SVT on the left, and I just picked up the 2010 Grand Sport on the right. She won't race me yet, but I think it's because she just learned how to drive a stick 2 months ago

I told her I'd give her 6 months
