Yeah my z06 takes a long time to get up to temp. On some cooler days, and if I'm driving normal (not going above 3k) my oil will never rise above 160-165. Hell on my 20 min morning commute to work lately the oil temps barely hit 150 before I'm in the parking lot.
Don't plan on sitting in you driveway waiting for this to happen because it won't......especially on a cooler day.
