Default Ron Fellows Special Z06 (2007)

Are these cars worth anything extra other than a regular 2007 model? After GM offered white (of course) on later models - are they worth keeping?

IMO, even though it's just a color (white) and some stickers (red/maple leaf), the white color was only available to these Z's in 2007-and they were the only ones to get those stickers.

The best part is I believe they have their own VIN numbers as well. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that will distingush the RF Z's through the ages....

So maybe 1-2k over a comp Z IMO.

The one I would pay a lil extra for is the red one.

Maybe 1-2k more than a non RF in my opinion. Not $5-10k like some people seem to think.

They are the only white w/ red interior available for the C6Z. GM offered the white in 2010's, but not with red on the inside.

It'll be a car that's appreciated by certain folks. But I prefer to drive and mod mine.

No more than $500 - 1K over regular Zs. Not a collector item since the name doesn't mean much outside ZO6 circles.

They also aren't all that rare. To bring extra bucks they have to provide something that people want and be rare. Back in the day everybody wanted the high hp big block engined Vettes but the vast majority of people bought cars with the base 300 HP engine due to a bunch of reasons. That made BB Corvettes a rare and desirable item. Since options were ordered on a single option basis people got what they wanted and could afford so most cars were not fully optioned. So when collectors see a fully optioned BB car they see a very rare car. My 71 LS6 was one of 196 cars built that year of which 8 were the super rare ZR2 cars. The only options my car had were FM Stereo Radio, power windows, auto trans and the LS6 engine. If it would have had the leather seats and tilt/telescopic steering it would have been more desirable. Even though auto trans optioned cars were more rare than the standard 4 speeds that option made the car less desirable.

Nowadays any model of Vette gets the engine specific to that model so the engines are not rare, the options are packaged in groups so fully optioned cars are not all that rare and the only thing left is color and stickers. That doesn't provide any desirability to anybody so the value of the car isn't much different than a regular model.

Rare? I don't know - they are definitely not as many as regular Z06s, but don't know if that makes them rare necessarily. They are probably worth $ 1000 more, but that could be said about a good example of any Z06 over the "average" Z06...

I have about 17K miles on mine, and barring one guy that his modded up that I know, I've yet to see another one(or newer white Z06 for that matter) since buying mine.
