I have a 2006 z06 29000 miles, front pads need to be changed. My rotors seem to be OK, there is a thin lip on the outer edge of the rotor. should I turn it, or let it be.

Check the rotors for minimum thickness and if they are above minimum don't do anything. If below minimum replace them.
