Default Livernois Motorsports 641 RWHP N/A Head/Cam Z

An out of state customer sent his Z06 for our stage 3 Head/cam package and asked that we tune it for pump gas and MS-109 race gas. We finished the car today and he asked that we create a video similar to the many others that he has seen on our YouTube page.

Modifications included:

•Livernois Motorsports CNC LS7 Cylinder Heads
•Livernois Motorsports Stage 3 LS7 Camshaft
•Livernois Motorsports Dual Valve Spring Package
(Livernois Motorsports Dual Valve Springs, Titanium Retainers, Valve Spring Locators, Locks, & Valve Seals)
•Livernois Motorsports Ported throttle Body
•Kooks 2" Longtube Headers
•Kooks 3" X-Pipe
•Corsa Exhaust
•Fast 102mm Intake Manifold
•Halltech Cold Air Intake
•RPS Billet Carbon to Carbon Clutch
•NGK TR6 Spark Plugs
•ARP Cam Bolts
•Hardened Pushrods
•GM Exhaust Gaskets
•Fluids & Synthetic Oil Change w/ Filter
•Professional Installation
•Livernois Motorsports Dyno Tune

The customer also added Corbeau seats, harnesses, and Pfadt Roll Bar to the package.

The car was 100% bone stock when it arrived and baseline numbers were 439 RWHP / 410 RWTQ. 93 octane pump gas numbers were 628 RWHP / 525 RWTQ. MS-109 race gas numbers were 641 RWHP / 535 RWTQ.

This thing is a monster!

On the stock runflats, it would spin hard no matter what in first, rolling into it in second and from a fast roll in 3rd. Time for some sticky tires!

Here is a teaser video...

Looks great and awesome results!

What injectors and rails are you using? I'd like to get my FRC on my engine with the FAST LSXR intake...

They look like the fast kit with ls3 rails.

Why is a 3 bolt cam gear listed since z06s have those stock? I know the camaros swap over to that, but I hope your didn't charge a customer for something he already had.

If you can pm me your first and last name and email address, I will have our shop supervisor send a quote Monday. Do you want the seats and bar or just the performance parts?

Good eye, fixed it. I copied a different package and modified it... forgot to remove that. The customer was not charged for a new one.

You guys make me wish I would have used my GMPP money on a downpayment for your package!

Keep up the great work!

very nice numbers. Looks to me that its not worth the trouble to fool with the race gas and the tune to just gain a little power.

I do have a question though. How is it that now you guys are all getting over 600rwhp on a head and cam and just a year or so ago that really wasnt the norm? Is it the 2 inch headers? Or is it the headwork has gotten better? Also is this the best head and cam package you have? In other words do you have another that has a bigger cam and better heads such as MAST HEADS ETC. Is a catch can a good idea? PM me a cost for this package on a stock z plus add optional things such as better heads and bigger cam. Nice work!

Yes, I can send a quote when I get to work tomorrow. Are you going to send your heads or would we be providing new LS7 heads?

These are the A4's. They fit fine, you use a manual bracket and put the driver seat on the passenger side and the passenger seat on the driver side.

We've done about 15 cars in house with this package and they've all made 600-630 RWHP. We've also sent this package via mail order and every customer we've received feedback from has made over 600 RWHP. Some cars already had 1 3/4" or 1 7/8" headers when they arrived and they usually make 605-610 RWHP. I think the 2" headers really do make a difference with this package. We tell everyone that we never guarantee numbers, because every car varies, but when we do the package on a stock car and use all of the parts we recommend, they always make they high end of the power range mentioned above. This is the best head and cam package we have, but the cam is pretty radical and most corvette owners prefer something a bit more tame. We've done countless stage 2 cam full bolt-on cars (minus heads), but they make about 100 less RWHP.

If you can pm me your first and last name and email address, I can have our shop supervisor email a quote tomorrow.

Thank you,

Rick

Out of curiosity how long would you need to keep a vehicle to install such a package. My Cousin lives in Plymouth and claims I’m always welcome to an extended visit!

The bar is made by Pfadt and the harnesses and seats are Corbeau. Are you looking for installed pricing or mail order?

With this package, we use the heads from you car so this adds some time. After the install is finished the car goes on the dyno, then we road test for drivability, hot start, cold start, etc. With a cam this large, it takes some time to get it right, so we like to have the car for roughly 3 weeks.

I know most people can't stay in town for that long, but we do have Enclosed Transport Available for all Install Packages (Click here for details)

Thank you,

Rick
