I have NT05s as well and also intake/tune - the car seems to hook up pretty good if I roll into it...mash it and you will spin - that is a given.
Be VERY careful taking corners on the R's though OP. The walls are VERY SOFT on those tires...go out and practice a little bit first or you might be in for a rude awakening on your first spirited drive and getting into the first corner...

in case you have had both tires, how would you compare the 05R to the MT et street. I have those on now and while i don't go barreling into corners like i did when i had NT05's all around, i push them a bit.

I have a set of NT05s and I haven't had any problems hooking up in 2nd. I do have to modulate a bit in 1st but once it hooks, it pulls hard with no problems on any of the up shifts. This is even when its slightly chilly out.
The OEM GYs on the other hand... I'd spin em rolling at 70+ in 2nd.
I want to see the video too btw

I don't have the 1st gear one anymore on youtube I do have a 2nd gear pull one tho. It was a little difficult seeing the tach because of a shadow so I'll have to get another 1st gear one
