Default Anybody running nitrous on there ZR1?

Seems with the car having a forged motor stock, all the bolt on's and then some nitrous would be a Hot set-up.

Yeah I was wondering this as well. I was contemplating a twin turbo C6 or SC Z06 but then I thought why not do a bolt on ZR1 for 800hp and then a 150-200 shot. Seems like a good way to go.

We're running 150shot on our ZR1 shop project we're thinking about going 200shot very soon.

Kooks 1.7/8 headers / LPE 2.60 Pulley / LPE ported blower snout / LPE CAI / coollogic heat exchanger/ tune.
stock 530rwhp / mods above 625rwhp / 150shot 789rwhp after that we added a very mild cam made 649rwhp I believe if we dynoed it again with the nitrous it will be over 800+rwhp

Keep in mind the numbers were on 91octane 98F only 13psi and C16 Fuel with the nitrous.
With 16+psi and bigger cam 900rwhp shouldnt be a problem.

Video of the car before the nitrous

Check the other vid I can't post here 40-200+mph
I will post the new vids soon.

Did you get a plate system done or are you using nozzle?
Are you still on the stock fuel system?

The hill climb car is plumbed for it......

Plate kits do not work well with Positive displacement blower. like they do with NA and Turbo/Centrifugal blower.

Just finished getting tuned on Friday. It has upper and lower pulleys, bigger cooler, CAI & headers on E85.

Im going to make my long over do post this weekend. From day one that I got it I been doing something to it so I was holding off. I will post some nice pictures. I also just ordered some ADV.1 wheels so im pumped about that.

Im already to do a hp bump after the new year so let see what happens. Twin turbo or heads & cam. And maybe some nitrous if I can stay on the stock fuel system.

that 40-200mph roll on was impressive. looking out the back window it looked like it was raining? - was that rain or condensation from the cold night?

Cool I've wanted to see what a full bolt on ZR1 and E88 does. I think LG said E85 was good for 100hp.

Keep us posted with the numbers and pics ADV.1 gonna look badass on black ZR1
IMO go with H/C and nitrous you'll be over 750rwhp with H/C on E85 maybe even more 14-16psi then add 150shot 900+rwhp but you'll need a bigger injectors with E85 for sure.
I remember IPS did twin turbo ZR1 everything was stock except the injectors made 910rwhp 15psi

Did you go with larger injectors in order to move the greater fuel amounts required by E85, or can the stock injectors handle the greater volume?

I have a couple of questions in regards to the nitrous application. Do you install a wet or dry Nitrous system? It was a plate system or a fogger system? If it was a fogger system where the foggers were located, can you show a picture? Do you have stock injectors and stock fuel pump? I was under the impression that the car with already mods present was kind of short for the current fuel pump capacity.
