Is there a universal rating for wheels that are used under high speed or race conditions? I guess I'm just wondering if these wheels might not have the same reliability under demanding conditions and if there is anything in particular someone should know before buying them over one of the other brands known for holding up in race applications?
I'm not knocking the wheels, as the title to this post was exactly what I have been thinking for months each time I find a wheel I like...... These wheels look great, just what the DR ordered, but I am a bit apprehensive.

They are certified to be 100%, 6061 aluminum, they have been through FEA testing, but not had any other testing done. FEA tests for stress points under a specific load and our was done at 1600 lbs which is far more than needed. They have not had impact tests done as of yet...

As per my post in the above-referenced thread, we have suspended the posting privileges of P.T.S. because of unresolved issues involving several customers involving unfilled orders where large deposits were required on the front end.
Until those issues are addressed, we also are closing all of the vendor's sale threads.
If you have a pending order that has not been filled, please contact me via PM so I can add you to the list of customers I'm aware of.
