I had the bullets and went to the fusion for my long highway trips. The bullets sound AMAZING around town but on the highway trips I wanted to poke my eardrums out, they drone like nothing I had ever heard! That being said they are a quality product. I found the fusion best of both worlds...close the flaps when I hit the highway and retain my sanity.

I've had the Bullets on my 07Z for nine years and 95,000 miles. They're loud, they drone, but sound fantastic. I've been amazed reading these Bullet threads all these years that some people say they can't hear their radio. I have the Bose that came on 2LZs and can hear music just fine when the volume is at 33% at most and I'm 73.

Hey Mdm23 I actually wrote a review of BB Bullets for C6 Z06. Videos included! It definitely was an unforgettable experience, for better or worse. I didn't even think I had so much to say, but I guess I did!
In short, if your car is completely stock, the drone levels of this exhaust is completely manageable. With headers or more engine mods, prepare for lots and lots of unpleasant drone at around 1800 rpm's.

I'm wondering why people don't consider the QTP electric cutouts??
To me, those would offer the truest "mild to wild" toggle switch. Go from completely stock muffler system (which is quiet enough to avoid unwanted attention) to an absolutely ridiculous NASCAR sound or anything in between. Not to mention that on the other LS setups, the cutouts usually give 5-10hp gains over even the highest flowing exhaust systems.
That's what I'm gonna do anyways. Screw trying to live with just one or the other...
