Lethal Performance Zr1 build (Pic heavy)
Well we finally got time to time to work on the ZR1. Between waiting on parts, holidays and the workload at the shop we finally got around to working on the car. The car will be ran in the upcoming Texas mile and 1/4 times times will be this week. We should have the car done in a 3 day turnaround. We started yesterday and worked on the car about 12 hrs. This car had a warranty recall for the clutch and lets just say the dealer needs a good kick to the bottom for some of the work they did. All of the **** quirks have been corrected and we are looking good to finish by Wednesday. The original plan was to go all out. But due to the time frame for porting the heads and maybe getting the blower ported we decided just do to the boltons and our custom cam package to see what this nets us on 93 pump gas. The following mods are being added to the car
LPE high flow cold air
LPE high flow snout
LPE supercharger pulley (2.60)
LPE 14% od balancer
American racing 1 7/8 header with cats or no cat option
Stock catback
Lethal Performance DG Ratchet cam kit V2
Quick time scatter shield
RPS triple clutch and custom milled slave
Stock shifter
Stock ZR1 trans and diff
Katech heat exchanger
LG ZR1 radiator
ARP header studs
Catch can
Plugs
Wires
F14 wheels with Nitto 555's
Im sure I missed a couple of items but here are the pics.
Car getting ready for its mods
Exposing the supercharger
Found the intercooler seals to be damaged. Replacements overnighted Lots of oil in there. Catch can here we come.

We have two cams right now. Rev1 and rev2. Rev2 is being installed as these are custom grinds from comp cams. I can give out some specs later. At lunch right now... Ill have videos and give you honest reviews once complete and tuned.

always good to see the progress of these cars being done. Awesome pics keep them coming.
By the way you might want to consider changing the shifter out while you have it apart.

Thanks for the props. Looks like we will hear it tonight. Here are some more pics. Also did the cam swap without having to recover the refrigerant

whats up with the shifters??? Never heard anything about that? What is that little extrathrottle body blade thingy? Looks like it might be to releive pressure after hard accell and leave off the gas or something?

That is the bypass. Open and recirculating until you get on it. Saves gas as the compressor only compresses when you need it.
