lol, your post tells me how educated you are in racing technology. My Z is a track car, look up the Cobra Sebring Technology:
Yeah, it has some ugly logos but nothing a black marker can't fix lol. This seat is over 2k BTW... so yeah, I will be faster and less furious

Oh I bet that seat cuts down 2 seconds off your lap time....drifting around the grocery store parking lot while you're watching 2 fast 2 furious on your iPad! HAHA

I've been dying to do this. I tried to make it fit, but no way am I losing HVAC controls....mine's not a DD first. :P
and the 7" tablets don't fit quite right to be able to retain the A/C controls...without dismantling it and piecing it in...just fyi for anyone else wondering.
So, guess I'm still searching for a USB touchscreen.

I can shed some light on this, I work for a pretty unique app development company.
The iPad "sucks" compared to the opensource and capability of the Android device. The Android system can do "more" and you can utilize the hardware in ways that Apple would not consider kosher.
Both products are good, just depends on what you want to do with it.
If I wanted to hack an Android device and install HP tuners live on it, I could and I most likely could do this with the Apple product but it wouldn't be the same path.
I'll keep everyone posted, this whole install thing is way easy easy.
