.:::NEW:::. Ambient Instulated Cupholders Finally
I've worked on several editions of the cup holders and found this to be the best.
The lighting isn't overbearing at night and gives it the feel of a true ambient lighting that should be factory.
I've also added insulation to the cup holders to keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot. No more melted ice in the Summer time
$79 for lighting and insulation
$40 for cup holder core charge (refundable)
$no charge for hard wire connections
$20 for fuze style connection
$10 for battery style style connection

4 bolts to remove console (2) x 7mm and (2) x T15 torques and (4) phillups screws to remove cupholder.
As for location I sell it on my website and webmaster is updating the new lower costs.

sure, I have about 10000 of them (literally). give me a few minutes and I'll upload some schematics. Some folks don't have automatics and those with automatics will probably have an easier time wiring to auto inducator lighting...

another way, just something I actually have sitting around from my harnesses... The illumination wire on the HUD switch is the wire bent over in picutre
Pointer finger is pointing to pin location on front of harness.

Alrighty so I found this on Kawals website. I am pretty sure that even if you don't have F55 it's still prewired (atleast from all the vettes I've taken apart).
Pin #5 12 Volt power for lamp. (Black and Grey wire)
Pin #6 Ground for lamp (Black wire).
So basically. Plug your positive wire into black and grey wire and ground wire to black wire. I'll do it in my car if I get a chance later today and get some pictures on the removal of radio bezel and wire tapping.
This is the actual Schematics for the F55 plug.
This is the plug in the console.
Wires you can tap into it.
