so how did you find out it was installed backwards??...I think I missed that part...just curious, as that's a first I've heard of anything like that.

when i first got the car i signed up in this forum and posted exactly what had happened, people back then "3 years ago" told me that it wasnt the 1st time somthin like that had happened on the assembly line and that they had heard of several same cases realted to bad assembly...

the way i found out was coz when i first started up the car, naturaly i tried to shift into 1st gear so i can get goin, what happened was while the clutch pedal was all the way down the gear would not shift into position as if i wasnt even pushing on the pedal at all... the gear would only shift into position when i applied the pedal on 80% of the way down, never when it was all the way to the floor... so obviously something was wrong, when the car was on the lift and the bellhouse was off, i looked at the clutch disk, with the inscription FLYWHEEL SIDE, starring at me , instead of the flywheel.... what more do u wana know? oh we all laughed, yeah... at least we found out what was wrong with the car...
