Anyone running the B&B Headers?
I am interested in running the B&B 1 7/8 headers that fit with the factory X pipe. Does anyone have installed pictures or videos? Any reviews on them. It seems like the most economical way to go since I already have the Factory 3" X pipe and plan to keep the factory axle back.

I have them and I love them, what do you want to know.
I have the BB long tube headers and the 3' X-pipe with cats, cost was around 2k installed, but I got a discount. It took them a while for the headers because they built them and did not have them in stock. The only problem is that the CEL is on because of the cats but at some point I will have that tuned out before I have the smog done.

I have them and like them alot. I went with B&B so I could retain my Akrapovic titanium mid pipe. They were a couple hundred dollars cheaper than most and the quality is very good. They also went to lengths to keep them as light as possible which is another factor that I liked. They saved 23.5 pounds off the stock pipes. I had B&B install them and the only thing they needed to do was pull the spark plugs to prevent accidental breakage and disconnecting the dry-sump hoses at the oil pan. They plugged the hoses to save the oil but told me that if I brought the oil and filter, they would change it for no charge. I had a local tuner do a quick look at my tune and he cleaned up a couple things so I would have no codes. I also did another dyno at the same place that did my original dyno and I picked up around 13 hp at peak but a little more in the mid range. At peak torque (4750) I picked up 18 Ft Lbs. I failed my first emissions test (OBD II) but my tuner found the cause and I passed without any problem.

B&B LT's in addition to the Akra Ti evo system is a real clean setup. Not to mention that between the LT's and the Akra system you've shaved about 56 lbs off the car.

I have the B&B's as well but haven't installed them yet...had them coated as well.
I selected the after hearing I can use my factory x-pipe with them.
Plus, they're located roughly 8 miles down the road from my house

Victor,
Put those puppies on your car and go see NicD. I have found over the years that if you keep performance equipment for too long in your garage, the power potential evaporates.

I recently purchased HP Tuners Pro as well, so my collection of "go fast" goodies is increasing
I was going to wait until I have the Katech LS9 clutch put in, but we will see.

I ended up buying a set of these. Will be getting them coated locally and installing soon. Thanks for the replies.

Am I reading this correctly that these headers bolt up the factory x pipe on a coupe? If that's the case these headers are a good deal. Installation should be much quicker as well.

I can't vouch for a coupe but they bolted up to my mid-pipe in my Z. I had an Akra mid-pipe that bolted in with my stock manifolds and mufflers.
Give them a call.

They make two versions one for the LS2/LS3 cars and one for the LS7 cars. I have an LS3 car but I am running a LS7 header with the ZR1 x pipe and ZR1 axle back. It all fits you just have to use an LS7 exhaust gasket and extend the O2s.
The standard LS2/3 version headers will bolt up to the factory mid pipe on those cars but both versions delete the cats. If you want high flow cats you have to buy B&B's x pipe for extra.
