100k for the new vert with a 427, wow I hope that the msrp isn't that high. I was figuring around 85k would be the msrp. I want 1 of those if the price is right.

I fully loaded Z06 is $100,000 with everything. The convertible usually adds about $6,000. The price is going to be close to that.

That is what I have thought too, but the only cars we are selling right now is the most expensive ones. The cheap ones seam to be sitting.

I can also take orders for the regular 427 convertible if somebody is interested.

I think that is the main problem Tim. 100k for a fully loaded ZO6 and it is still not a ZR1. You can buy new ZR1's for around 110k right now. GM has made too many different Corvettes that have just screwed up the market if you ask me.

As for the 427 Convertible, it is not on a ZO6 chassis so how can GM justify the price? Heck 2013 will be the last year for the C6 and the values will mostly likely have a huge decline when the C7 comes out.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the car but not at anything close to 100k.

I remember when I bought my 2002 Z06 new for 50k.. It's amazing that the price has doubled in 10 years.

It still is a Z06 with out an aluminum frame. These will sell out quick because this is the only year you can get a 427 in a convertible. Lately the only car I have been selling are between $80,000 and $130,000 msrps. It seams like that is what people are buying now.

At the time, the Z06 was double the car of the coupe as well.. And it certainly wasn't double the price.

I got to see the 60th anniversary 427 convertible in person and it looks great. I love the black and blue interior and I love how the stripes go through the top.

I have taken a deposit on the 427 60th convertible. I do have about 10 non 60th 427 convertibles coming in though. I will post them up soon.

Is this the only way to get a ZR1 in a convertible is in these colors? (from GM)

"Keep in mind that this will be the only year that they will offer the Z06 drivetrain as a convertible model"

It also was true z06's didn't come in convertibles, but I thought since they were being allowed to be a convertible for this year, maybe the ZR1 would also.

Damn that would be hot!
