Yes I was the guy that had asked that question...I have my ZR1 now and am getting use to the CF roof but still like the uniform body roof color like my Z06 had more...It's ok on a black car because from a distance it all looks black..As far as vinyling it's a great idea but can't seem to find a vendor in Canada that carries the stuff..Just may paint it yet kind of on the fence with this right now.

Hello !!!! I like them both ways actually. The C/F is just part of the make up of the ZR1 and looks good IMO. More so on certain colors. The color match top looks good as well. Thank goodness we all don't like the same things. Variety is good

Very true ufa variety is good...Thats why I'm on the fence with this..the CF roof sorta defines the ZR1 to the other Vette's...Just hate when people walk up to me and say I tought it was a vert I also think that from a distance as well..Not dissing verts here I like verts with the top down but not with it up because of the color diff between the roof and the body..

Wouldn't take very long to do the job, find someone south of the border and make a day trip.

I live in Nova Scotia so unless it's in the state of Main it would be more than a day thing for sure.

Default Halltech Package

We make the roof and halo in pure pre preg carbon fiber and can easily do a roof/halo in primered carbon fiber ready to paint. $1999 for the pair and 6 lbs lighter than the ZR1 carbon pieces.

Its not hard to apply vinyl yourself. I would do some google searching and attempt it myself if I was inclined to cover my roof.

Doing a fairly flat and square panel like the roof would be a very good DIY vinyl project.

These are great looking! I wouldn't touch mine, but would jump on it in a heartbeat if I had a Z06.
