Default going with 17 inch drag radials

I m sticking 17 inch c5 z06 front rims on the rear of my 07 z06 only when i drag race it and was wondrering if ill need to put tpms sensors in the wheels or if it doesnt make a difference.I will not be using these rims to drive to and from the track ,strictly to pull runs and hopefully get some really good timeslips.I dont care about lights going on i jsut dont want any power being cut off just because not having sensors may triger some electronic systemt cut power delivery. The quicker i get an answer the faster you guys get to know what irun at the track once the wheels are installed.

Running the car with traction control off, you won't need TPMS sensors for your new wheels and tires

No issues. In fact I've driven a ton with my 17"s with no TPMS and it has never even popped up a light.

I don't run TPMS sensors in my 17" drag radial setup either, but if I drive it for 30 miles or so it will finally pop a message for rear tire pressure with "XXX" for tire pressure.
This does not keep me from turning T/C off, and doesn't seem to invoke any power reduction modes.

sorry for bumping an old thread, but what’s the correct backspace for the c5z wheels? Is it 7.38?
