Default Any real benefit to aftermarlet x-pipe on z06 with stock manifolds and cats?

I posted this in the Tech Section, But not really getting any feedback, so maybe it's better suited for the Z06 Specific section, so here goes:

I just bought my B&B Bullet Exhaust. I am thinking of buying a Corsa X-pipe from a member on here. Is there any real benefit of an aftermarket X-pipe with stock cats, and manifolds? I am going to do headers eventually anyway, but want to know about the X-pipe with axle back for now? Is there any real HP gain, Sound gain, Anything??

Anyone that has real data, let me know!

Thank you!

Mine pops a little more with it, that's about it. But that's all I wanted when I bought it

I have a complete ZR1 exhaust with stock manifold/cat's on my car.
I don't know if the car really picked up any hp/tq as the installation wasn't precluded or followed with immediate dyno testing. I prefer the exhaust note with the x-pipe over the h-pipe with my combination, which was the reason for the change.

I do not believe that it provides any hp. I am about to do this myself. I have the x-pipe from ZR1 and the late part numbered cans (w/perfs in tailpipe) which should be here today.

My motivation for installing is purely for the sound. Most agree that the late 2010 + factory exhaust sounds better than the earlier set up.

I installed a ZR1 X-pipe for the sound and I am happy with it. Will not obviously be same day testing but it is the only thing I changed since my car was on the dyno last and I hope to get back on the dyno in the near future.
