Your website is charging shipping on this product. Is there a coupon code I should be using?

You probably have 3 day shipping selected by accident. Make sure ground is selected and the shipping will zero out.

Let me know,

Jim

It remains in either On or Off position, such that, if you have the system turned off and valves open, they will be open when you start your car and vice-versa.

Thanks,
Matt

You always want to shut down the car with the exhaust valves open, so as to reduce battery drain.
There is a no-drain installation method that can be used as well. It's in the instructions.

I'm not so much concerned about the battery drain...I have one of these now.. and it always starts in the open mode...regardless of how I shut the car off..annoying..

If I'm not mistaken, isn't that the "normal" way the bi-mode exhaust operates ?
Once the vacuum pressure is gone (engine off), the exhaust valves just open.

Well mine are always open at startup..I'd prefer they start closed and I open if I desire or they open as normal..this device on my Z06 would start in the same state as at shut down...now I didn't install this one in this car so I'm not certain if it's the exact same or if it's connected differently (or if it even could be installed wrong).. ? (I didn't word this well)

If I set my M2W so the exhaust valves are open at shut-down, they are open at next start-up and stay that way.
If I set the M2W so the exhaust valves are closed at shut-down, they are briefly open (no vacuum) at next start-up
but immediately close (vacuum restored).

Maybe you did have a different unit in your Z06 ? One would think all would work similarly...

Yes there are different units I think..if one reads their website there are options for memory state at shut down/startup..I did look into the wiring but can't see an option there..(with my current unit)

It's lookin like I may have to purchase a new unit..rats. Well at least I'll get rid of the remote with the newer type that can be learned by the Car2u system...which won't learn this current unit either..

Okay I found the situation...the device has a power saving install method that if utilized always starts the car in the (what they call "off") position....otherwise I suspect it starts in the last used position...woohoo..will rewire tomorrow..
thanks for your input Gary

No,it stays on whatever you have it on. The only way you change it,is when you use the controller.
