My garage asks me $ 600 to dismantle open solder and go up ... I think strongly to take directly a Borola ATAK or other if it exists even better thank you for your answers
Where you are buy an exhaust, if affordable by the Akra.
Had both ZR1 nd ZO6 on mine and very little difference. Ended up doing the "MOD" on my ZO6 mufflers, they are awesome however to get the full effect you need to eliminate the cats.

The true muffler mod is 3" straight tube thru and not the stock ZO6/ZR1 2 3/8" whether perforated or not. I was going to buy B+B until I found out they still had the small pipe, only if you buy the more expensive Gen II do you get the large 3" tube thru.
Like I said I bought ZR1 mufflers for my ZO6 and there was very little difference, the baffled pipe is wrapped in packing so almost a solid pipe anyway. The 3" tube was a big difference but eliminating the cats is also.
If you really want to save money there are plenty of straight thru exhaust's out there but you don't have the quiet option.

No, these are the OEM ZO6 pipes that came on my car. I chose not to chop up the ZR1's as there was NO benefit to using them in the final product, I re sold the ZR1 pipes for more than I paid for them.
