Will these bolt up directly to the Akra x-pipe?

No. Not even close. You will need the matching Pfadt mid pipe.

No, as with most Long tube headers, you need to use the X pipe that is part of the header package or everything will no align correctly. The B&B Corvette Z06 Headers are the only headers that I know of that will let you use your stock X Pipe (or Akra pipe for the matter )

Thanks,

Jim

60rwhp and 51rwtq.... really?? I think they had to do more than just add headers. Even with a good tune I have never seen anything close to that.

This is the Z06 Forum, it would be nice to see some bottom line numbers from an LS7 since that is what most of us are running.

VR has installed a set of headers with cam and ported heads and made 609.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...cs-inside.html

Normally out of heads/cam and headers guy are seeing 550 to 580whp ...wonder if headers made the difference? Unless thats one nasty cam

Assuming there wasn't any trickery with the dyno run (conversion to crank hp), if that's whp isn't the baseline a good 40-45 whp above typical LS3 results? Seems like that could indicate some intake mods (maybe CAI, ported TB and/or manifold) and a tune? Maybe those results are possible if the intake side has been worked like that.

The base dyno run could also be a stock Z06 on a dyno that typically reads low. I would normally expect about 445rwhp stock, but my car dyno'd at 469rwhp stock, but that dyno typically gives 455-475rwhp readings on stock Z06's, so I don't consider my LS7 super strong.

Looks like the chart has "LS3" in size 5 font. But it still amazes me how much power LS7s put down at the wheels. I could be crazy but a lot of times it seems like LS7s lose less (put down more in comparison to crank hp). How are your PSS tires holding up; we've both had them for over 6 months now I think?

My PSS are fine with two Silver State events and the Mojave Magnum event and about 5K miles. I won't use them at HPDE's until my NT-05's wear out. Great tires, I got them in mid-February.

I see the LS3 on the dyno sheet now. Maybe it was run on an engine dyno and the numbers would be about correct - stock.
