[Z06] Orange County CA Z06 dealer recommendation

Orange County CA Z06 dealer recommendation
My 2006 Z06 with 47,000 miles is still under a $0 deductible GMPP extended warranty ending in March 2014. I need a local (preferably Orange County CA) dealer / service manager recommendations to use the forum's valve guide measurement tool to measure my valve clearance... and replace my heads if necessary before my GMPP warranty runs out.
Please post your dealer AND service manager recommendations in or near Orange County CA... since we know having the right Chevy dealer & service manager can make all the difference keeping our Z06's running correctly.
Thanks!

How can I extend this GMPP past the March 2014 expiration date?

I used Selman Chevy in Orange. When I was living in Dana Point, I used them from about 2003 and on. I haven't lived in Ca since 2010, but they were always the best for the south oc residents.

When I was living in Placentia, I used Connell in Huntington Beach for both my 02 Z06 and 06 Z06. Selman was very rude in my experience, even though I bought my 97 Z28 and 00 S10 truck from them. Connell was very courteous when I needed something done, which was very rare. Actually, the only thing my 06 Z06 ever needed was the top replacement under warranty.

Tell Chuck that John with the black Z sent you. He'll know to treat you well.

Selman is the best. Talk to Chuck Stallworth, asst. mgr. there and I promise you he will take exceptionally good care of you. They've done all the warranty and GMPP warranty work on my '06 Z including the oil pan gasket recently which is a rather difficult job. The car never comes back with a scratch on it either.

I'm in a similar situation. Have GMPP on my 2007 Z06 that expires in March 2014, so I have about 13 months and 10,000 miles left on it.
Dennis Fichtner at Fichtner Chevrolet (forum sponsor) sells GMPPs and GMPP extensions all the time. I would email him your VIN and mileage. If I recall correctly, GMPPs can only be extended while the car is 7 model years or newer, so 2013 may be the last year you can still renew your 2006. See this thread for his email.
