Do you guys think this is something that can give me a peace of mind?
Since my warranty is up, I want a mod to allow me to have a peace of mind with the ls7 dropped valve issue. I am looking at comments before I pull the trigger on this:

ARP LS1 Hex Head Bolt Kit, 2004 & up LS1/LS6/LS2
GM LS7 Header / Exhaust Gasket
Remove Heads, Trasnfer Intake Valves, Replace Exhaust Valves w/1 piece, Install Spring Kit
Speed Inc. LS7 custom cam Intake lobe 13017R 227@.050 .613 lift Exhaust lobe 13021R 243@.050 .623 lift LSA 115.5
Camshaft installation gaskets
-GM Water pump gaskets (2) 12630223

Looks good. What other mods do you have? Should be solid 550rwhp car or more with a decent header/intake setup.

I will get an intake setup, but leaving headers stock. I had an issue with drone with my base c6 and like the original exhaust.
I love the fact that I will get extra horses, but I am primarily doing this to have a peace of mind and no surprises. I plan on some long trips in the spring/summer.

you will need to change out the springs on the heads. that cam on a 1.8 rocker will be around .650 to .660 lift. the heavier valves plus the higher lift of the 1.8 rocker with that cam and you will find trouble at some point.

so go with something different than whats in the package
Precision Race Component EHT .650" Spring Kit?
What do you recommend?

PRC has .675 springs for a few bucks more. Just get those if you are worried. Texas Speed said the .650s would be fine for .650-.660 lift when I talked to them.
