Trying to make my mind up. Sooo if you wouldnt mind, whick split 5 spoke finish do you guys prefer on a red c6z?? Right now they are chrome but thinking about powdercoating them black. Thanks for your time!

Im a young whippersnapper as well haha. Anywho, I powdercoated my wheels black on my previous c6z. That was a no brainer. The car was black and had silver wheels... yuck!

Either or would look sick... How **** are you w\ upkeeping your car? If you decide chrome the up keep is a lot more work, I religiously have to coat my wheels w\ wax to ensure they stay mint... If your not meticulous go black, I've always had chrome and I too em a young wippersnapper lol I have chrome on my Super Sonic Blue GS and wouldnt have it any other way (;

I wouldn't do black n chrome, that's just me. If you want a change Id stay with what you have and run a brushed clear finish on them with maybe some red accents that would be different

Go with the chrome, its more classy and brilliant looking.

I also powered coated the barrels black and then had it clear coated so when you look through the spokes you see really shiny black.

you can say you have the best of both worlds then.

Right now i have perfect chrome wheels and it looks great just hard for me to pull the trigger on black considering it looks nice as is. My car looks just like the one above. Nice car! I also tinted my tail lights and side markers. Was thinking they would go well with black wheels haha decisions decisions......

An old fart here. I prefer the black wheels. I had to work real hard to get the chrome wheels on my car replaced with the factory black racing wheels before I would buy it.

I like chrome or polished aluminum. The maintenance is fairly simple and I like to keep my wheels clean anyway. I feel most cars look better with these wheel choices and have seen some blacks ones that look good on some cars.

Im really leaning towards chrome. For a couple reasons. It looks great and no need to spend money bc they are already on the car haha thanks for the opinions! Love this forum!

Buy 3 or 4 cans of plasti dip spray at Home Depot and spray your wheels black. Drive it around for a while and see if you like it. If not, peel it off.

Mine is not red but atomic orange. This old fart likes black wheels.

Before with chrome ZR1.



Now with satin black cup wheels.

Black all the way! Chrome looked great back in 95'.
