Black with black wheels help
Can you guys post some pics of your black Z's with black rims? I am trying to decide between black gloss or black matte rims for my black Z06. I was thinking about going with the black gloss Spyders but now think maybe the black matte would be better. What do you guys think? Thanks

Smart *** replies are useful..... I'll give you an answer to your question. My suggestion is gloss black unless you have done something else to the car where the matte may go with it. Just my .02......go with what you like. It's your car! I don't have a way to post a pic but can email you one if you want. Just pm me

Semi-gloss (approaching Satin in color) treated OEM Spyders from House of Wheels.
I went through the same decision. My opinion: matte is a bit too raw and can look dirty; gloss black (which only looks gloss after detailing) is a bit too much bling if you are going for a meaner look; whereas semi-gloss is just about right.

I went through this recently, too. But then I realized that so many others were doing the black wheels that I decided to go a different direction. Still dark, but I wanted some contrast to go with the carbon fiber aero kit from RPI designs.
These are a satin finish. Anthracite Metallic:

As for the OP...go matte, satin, or semi-gloss. They all look good as long as its not chrome.

My apologies then. I didn't see the other post and from the outside looking in I thought you were serious. Thank you for clearing that up.
