Default What would you pay? C6Z 50,000 miles?

Came across one, seller is having a hard time moving. Curious what would be a good price on this considering lower mileage examples are in the low $40s.

2007 Red Z06
2LT, no nav
Fully stock
No accidents
1 owner
Maintained with receipts
52,100 miles

Car has been for sale for 2 months and he'd like to sell before XMas. What would you offer?

If its a 2LZ then it should have nav.

You could buy a car like mine
2007 Red Z06
2LZ with nav (2LZ so all Z06 options)
WCCH heads
Miscellaneous other mods (MGW, M2W, OEM ZR1 spoiler)
lots of leather upgrades
2nd owner
New pilot SS
less than 9,000 miles

For mid/low 40's

If nothing else how much would 40K miles be worth to you?

Nav & Trim package are separate options. Not all 2LZs have Nav.

The no nav doesn't bother me much as if likely add an aftermarket kenwood unit that uses the Garmin software.

I'm a bit worried about the mileage and potential for resale with higher miles. Given that I want to put myself in a good position price wise if I do buy this car.

Just to chime in with some additional data, I bought my 06Z this past May for 37.5k with 35,000 km (~21,000miles or so), red, loaded with nav, great shape, needed tires and 3 owners. And i'm in Canada where our market is much smaller so prices are usually higher.

Hang in there especially with winter coming, sometimes a few weeks of patience means a few thousands saved that can go to tires, heads or elsewhere.

I'm with you on that one. His asking price is $37,600 and he easily came to $36,000. I'd say my strike price is $33-$34k...just weighing if that's actually worth.

50,000 miles doesn't scare me much, but in the Vette community it is high mileage and I'm worried about that impacting resale.

On the other hand, how low will C6Zs really go? Given the improvements over the C5Z and current C5 prices my guess is that regardless of mileage a clean 07 C6Z won't sell for under $30k for at least a few years if not longer

I'll take your word for it but I'm going to look at my window sticker, I could swear that the only stand alone cost adding option on my sticker are the polished wheels.

$33K. If it shows no wear, $34K.

If a dealer had it they'd probably let it go at $37K.

^^^ definitely not seeing those prices around me. Curious where all these low $30k Zs are all at lol.

Should go a little under $40K due to the mileage. $37-38K would be a fair price.

Here is a great tool I've been using to get an idea of approx what the actual market price is of cars when buying:

https://tradein.autotrader.com/ATPag...NX=TIMATCHPLGO

Basically it is like Carmax but online...just plug the details of the car in that you want to buy and it will instantly give you an actual price as to what a local dealer would pay for that car. Very helpful tool!

You won't see that price unless you're standing in front of the owner with the cash in your hand lol. At which point those cars are sold; is where they're all at. Of course not all get sold on the low end of the book, but some do.

Exactly, very high miles, damaged, previous history....blah blah. Those go low and unnoticed because nobody wants them and nobody wants you to know they bought them.

Hell Carmax will give you more than what you are talking for it lol. Even a dealer on trade in.

Here is a 2006 2LZ without Navigation. Note the heated seat switches and standard radio.

This is why it is useless to try and provide any intelligent input on this forum, and why it is rather devoid of it.

I'm not trying to lowball the seller, just doing my due diligence on the car's true and prospective value.

not sure what you are trying to evaluate, i.e., how many miles will you add and how long will you keep the car ?
