I've been running my home made version of exactly this for a few years, and I have a Dashlogic device. IAT and ambient are very close all the time. When I dyno tuned my header install, they did 6 consecutive pulls in 90 plus Florida heat and humidity, and NO timing was pulled. I run a ZR1 air filter too. 2011 GS with MN6

I'm a 365 daily driver, and I like this design

member Seadawg was kind enough to test it and confirmed that the shroud keeps inlet air temp within a few degrees of ambient during warm weather stop-and-go driving conditions. Inlet air temps can reach as much as 20 - 30 degrees above ambient without the shroud.

Anybody know if this will fit a Z07? I contacted Corvette Mods and they could not tell; concern is the ZR1 radiator and different shroud.

I agree that IATs ran 20-30 degrees above ambient. I made a shroud from a sheet of ABS and now IAT is no more than 5 above ambient.
