I can tell you that finding a front set of C5z06 wheels and running a 275/40/17 will be the lightest combo with stick and flex to hook without breaking things. These cars turn like poop once you run these tires, so its a good alternative to having it mounted permanently.

Just wondering as I have ZR1 wheels and access to a set of the MT's at no charge.

You won't get the best ET possible out of that size tire, but if you don't care about ET, it should be fine.
