Default Slack/Slop in 5th and 6th.

Hi, I was wondering how much slack/slop is expected in 5th and 6th? When cruising on the high way, if I let off the glass completely/ abruptly and hit the gas a bit abruptly I notice some what seems to be slack? Almost like everything needs to hook up or get settled to put down power and or release from letting off gas. Is this normal?
It's a 2007 z06.

This only happens when accelerating/letting off gas, not when turning or anything, also seems to be little if none of it at lower gears.

Thanks!

All of the tolerances stack up between the engine and the wheels...clutch disk to input shaft, transmissions gears, output shaft, ring and pinion, half shafts, splines, etc.

Could also be rubber bushings in the suspension. Depends on what it sounds and feels like.

My connectors (forgot the name) in the torque tube were bad. I noticed an improvement when it was fixed up.
