18/19 inch wheels versu 19/20: your opinion?
what is your opinion on 18/19-inch wheels versus the 19/20 setup on the C6 Z06?
do the 18/19's look out of place to you? do they look too small? I know it's a matter of personal opinion about aesthetics, but what do you think?
any performance advantage of either size combination over the other?

Naturally the performance advantage falls to the 18/19 combo, as more available sidewall generally ensures more available traction.
But, if we're honest, neither a 19 or 20 inch rear wheel is going to provide anything approaching maximum forward thrust. You'll hook marginally better with the 19, but even bone stock, you can still find yourself sideways in 2nd gear with a full throttle assault.
Aesthetics are subjective. I have 18s, 19s, and 20s for my Z. They each look cool in their own right, considering their purpose.

We tend to favor the 19/20 setups far more over the 18/19 unless you are looking at more tracking events. As with the ZR1 19/20 comes stock and it fills up the wheel wells and also looks incredible. We do 20-1 19/20 vs 18/19 in the past 7 years, but to each their own, thats our take.
If you need any help just hollar

I'd never even think about putting 20" wheels in the rear...traction is limited as is with 19" wheels. I dropped down to a 18" in rear for the car in my avatar for Mickey Thompsons. I may do the same for my H/C yellow Z06...especially if I do nitrous.
Different strokes for different folks, but traction just aint happening on 20" wheels.

I have both an 18/19 setup as well as 19/20. For looks I think he 19/20 just fill in the gap better and sets the car off. I don't track or race so I don't have any input on that for you.
Just get both!! That'll solve your dilemma!
