Then again you may be correct, I checked the RPO codes on CAC and there is not one for the hood(?)

I don't think it was unavailable for 2011, however it may have been required to order the Z07 option to get it; I am sure I have seen a 2011 Z07 with the CF hood option. Please any 2011 Z07's with the CF hood option chime in.

That's why I like the 2012 Z07. It kind of all came together in 2012. PTM, CF roof, CF hood, Cup Wheels, Cup Tires. The whole package!
The 2011 Carbon Edition is great too; hell all of these cars are rare and neat!

All great rare cars indeed, with their own little bragging rights!

Another Z07
I previously owned some other fun cars. Most recently a moderately modified Subaru STi: Link
My new to me 2011 Z06/Z07 had only 7100 miles on it when I purchased it yesterday, now already up to 7300.
Sorry for the bad cellphone picture, will get better ones soon.
It has the following:
57U cyber gray metallic paint
785 dark titanium interior
CFZ Z06 carbon fiber package
H35 black metallic headlamp color override
U3U navi
Z07 Z06 ultimate performance package
3LZ premium equip group
I really could not be happier. This thing is a beast.

Been lurking on this forum for a long time, thanks to the great information available I was comfortable buying my first Corvette yesterday and now making my first post today.

Welcome Leibos, I have damn near the exact car except the head light override . The only thing I have done to make it better is build my own mild to wild switch for 20 bucks to enjoy the rumble. For anyone that wants a mild to wild switch don't pay 80 dollars just buy the parts and build it. The exact same thing all the vendors sell just minus the 60 dollar sticker. It's a Logitech 12v remote switch and a doulble fuse tap simple to make and cheap.

The only thing about the '12+ Z's is that they came with four cats as opposed to two...not a big fan of that move by GM.

Interesting you bring this up. The car is completely stock and unmodified with the exception of already having the M2W installed.
If I understand correctly, there is no way to program the visor mounted garage remote to control it with the remotes installed in the 2011. It also does not seem compatible with my Liftmaster MyQ garage door.
Therefore, while thinking about a longer term solution, I used some of this:
And mounted the M2W remote and a key fob garage remote in the little cubby under the driver's door armrest:
