Car "wobbles" at and above 130-140 mph during acceleration
Its kinda scary when this happens. Tire inflation is 30 lbs all four tires michellin pilot sports. Can the alignment of the four tires cause this. I'm answering myself and thinking it can. What else could cause this and surely it's not normal.

Never went that fast when I had my Z, but if I did and had your problem:
Would check alignment, torque settings on all suspension components (including mounting bolts to frame), hubs for play/wear, wheels and all bushings.
Best of luck and let us know... 2k

Question
Do you have factory or aftermarket rims? If aftermarket check the little stud clip that hold the rotors on. Sometimes aftermarket rims are not machined for the clip resulting in the wheel not full engaging the rotor/hub.

It is your tires. I have documented and ended up changing the alignment, shocks, wheels, tires, to only find out the MPSS are the cause of it.

Check all the above mentioned items. If that doesn't work, its your tires....I went through the same thing, wasted a lot of money on suspension parts and alignments to find out it was the tires the whole time. There are a couple other people that had problems with the PSS's. What are the date codes on your tires ?

My guess would be alignment. At Miller MotorSports Park I've exceeded 150 on the front straight with Michelin PS2's. No wobble. I use settings similar to the Pfadt Street and Track settings.

Do you have a friend that has either Goodyear's or Bridgestone's that you could try on your car? That would be a quick way to eliminate the tires as the problem and save you same time/money. If you still have the problem with other tires on the car, then at least you have a clearer starting point.
I have been over 160 on both the Goodyear's and the Bridgstone's with no problems.

Did you recently change rims? Could be out of round rims.
Did you run with TC/AH on or off? Comp mode? Sometimes that can screw with the abs brakes and pulsate the rears which causes the shaking.
Do you have tpms sensors in the rims? Sometimes that messes up the electronics.
These cars are weird. I've had these issues in the past. But thru the forum and everyone's expertise, we'll help you out!

I've had this issue at the track only but I recently went with my new drag wheels and it was gone. I wondered what the problem was and guess what I have mpss tires. This is the first I've heard on this but maybe someone is on to something..... Never experienced it on the street though so I thought it may have been the track.

Could be the wheels are out of balance. If you drive your car hard like I do, it is possible to sling a weight off the wheel and leave it wobbly at certain speeds. I initially wasn't sure if the wheels had weights stamped on the back of them..
Mine does it past 80-90mph. When I mentioned this to my dad, who works at a tire shop, this is the first thing he suggested.

I had that wobble too on my 2010 Z06! My car is 13.000 miles with a few bolt ons and tune and the Michelin Pilot Super Sports with about 7.000 miles on them.
It happened at about 120mph at an airstrip on my first run and then got even worse beginning at 100mph. So I quit the competition that day.
I thought the cause could be the grooves that some airstrips have, but those weren't a big problem for anyone else but me.
I have a set of new rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup that is 345-30/19 and will try those on the race track, but I'm a bit scared about braking from over 150mph to turn and get that wobble...

Sounds like what I was experiencing during the 1/2 mile event. Car had a side to side wobble at around 120, and smoothed out when I let off the throttle. If alignment, I would think the toe is way off. Will have that and balance checked again. You can see it when I go by the C5.
However, this is with MPSS. TC off and AH on.
