I haven't had much time to make passes at the track and when I do it's raining... This weekend is looking really good so I'll get back to you on it... I run a 15x10.3 with a MT 26/10/15S...

Tom (HOXXOH) has a real nice setup that he designed/engineered and had built locally, that I'm going to go with. I'll talk to Tom about maybe fabbing up a couple sets to keep the cost down. My buddy AJ (SmallBlck400) wants one as well...maybe Nacho and AJ P can look into them too so we can all go to the track and not get booted.
In, after racing.
Out, if I was planning to take the bride to dinner
Back in again, because I was just kidding about dinner.
full rear view on different day
Well you know that I made it 100% NHRA/IHRA legal to 10.00 according to the rulebook, where it states rollbars must be attached to the frame. Since nobody else made one that follows the rules, I had to make my own.
It's been a while since you've been to the track and now I know why. Don't say I never warned you. Give me a call when you get a chance.

More bars to make a welded rollcage vs a rollbar, padding on roll cage, an external master electrical cutoff, a NHRA chassis certification, a NHRA competition license, a window net, a neck collar, fire jacket/pants/gloves 3.2A/5, and the helmet must be full face.
All that assumes you already meet the 10.00 specs, are NA, and don't exceed 150 MPH.
If you get close or go under 10.00, it's a lot easier to put a block of wood under the go pedal and every so often take it out for the last pass of the day.

Nice job on the rollcage Tom.

It is, but getting a N/A street car into the 9's with a 6 speed manual is very difficult to begin with. Reserve the spray for the street
I'm more concerned about the 135 MPH traps getting us booted, but Dave Sholtz took his 'stock' ZR1 well into the 140+ zone without a bar before he got the axe.

Here are pics from member Mikymu's thread on his C6 Z06 rollbar install. His doesn't have the driver side bar for drag racing as his bar is for SCCA racing, but the mounting requirements are similar, IIRC.

How I do it is somewhat similar to the suggestions, but it's easier and the results create more strength while also allowing a quick in and out of the major components.
The regional tech guy who does chassis certifications, said it was much better than the rulebook suggestions.
BTW, WHP won't approve the bars from RSD, Wolfe, or RPM, since they don't attach to the frame. Even if you got a refund from the manufacturer for not passing tech, you won't get one from WHP when they boot you out for non-compliance.

Guess I'm gonna have to throw my hat in the ring cause I'm knocking at the door also. To be honest if my car only runs what it does now, I'd be happy. I couldn't have asked for a better daily driven street car in my life. It's probably the same combo as everyone else:
Heads ported, polished, decked
Custom grind cam
Fast Intake
Variram
Electric water pump
26x11.5x17 ET Strees on C5Z front wheels
RPS Street Twin Full Carbon clutch
left lane

Last November 14th I ran a 10.01 @139 at the MIR rental. The following week I went back for a TnT and my fuel pump failed right before the burnout box. Went back in March and my clutch started to slip after the first shakedown pass. Just installed the McLeod RXT and gonna wire up my 2 step and get my 9 second pass finally this coming November. Congrats Damien on the breaking out of the 10s! It's been a long time coming.

So you don't have any exhaust upgrades? That's encouraging...
