Default Are These real American Racing headers?

Hey guys

Came across a local seller trying to sell AR headers & mids, but they seem to look different than what I've seen online for the AR header package.

The flanges look thin/small and there isn't the stamped AR logo on the passenger side header.

The seller mentions that these were purchased in 2007 though, so if anyone has seen these headers from back then, please let me know (maybe they made some design changes along the way). He also claims the primaries are 1 3/4" while the AR site only shows 1 7/8" or 2".

Let me know what you guys think so I can make a more informed decision.

Thanks!
Anthony

They are certainly not the same as the new headers that come form ARH. The new ones use a ball and flange socket from the headers to mid-pipe.

The flow tubes that go from the mid-pipe to the mufflers look like the same ones ARH is shipping today.

Maybe someone else will chime in that has an older set of ARH headers.

Have you called the guys at ARH? They are very personable and easy to reach on the phone. Their customer service is a big reason I chose to buy their headers.

Thanks guys - definitely not ARH after speaking with them.

I'll have to do some reading to see if LG is worth it - seems to be quite a difference between their street series (China made) and super pro (USA made)...

I agree with the others. These are 1 3/4" LG headers. You can see the extra long primaries and slip fit collector. Call Anthony at LG and he can confirm it.

Default Lg streets

Yup looks like they're the street series. Apparently they were only used for one season so hopefully they check out in person.

If you guys have any tips on what to look out for, feel free to let me know.

Either way, thanks for your help!
