C6 z's in the 1/2 mile
What are the c6 z's posting in mph in the half mile?
The guys in the c7z forum are posting 154 to 156.

My H/C C6Z pulled off a best of 153 mph in 90* heat when it was running rich at ~473whp. I believe stock ones pull anywhere from 145-150

At Wanna Go Fast in Sulfur Springs I ran
158
159
159
159
160
It was cold that day, traction was bad off the line due to dust on the runway. Had to feather the car in first and short shift. Only ran the car once traction control off. My car is a cam and bolt ons.

You can't gauge anything from anybody's times anyway since some tracks (runways) are high elevation, downhill, uphill, hotter temp wise, etc. only comparison worth much are same day/track runs. These strips and mph vary greatly but ian08 has the best evidence of how a modded z stacks up.

My best run was 156.9mph. It makes 570rwhp on a dynojet. The traction was great at this event, with the Michelin PSS i was able to go WOT in first without any wheel spin.
-Trick Flow Heads
-Lethal Z Cam
-American Racing Headers
-Vararam
-MSD intake
Like Bgreenard said, this runway is 6200 ft above sea level and the DA was 8000+ at this event.
