I bought my 08 z06 a couple weeks ago with 22k miles on it. Paid for the 3 year, 36,000 mile extended warranty.

My question is, what more are you guys doing to your Z06's while under warranty? Any tuning?

I plan on doing axle back B&B fusion and maybe an intake system like a vararam or airraid.

After the warranty expires I want to have AHP do my heads, long tubes and a cam.

Unless you have an "inside man" at a dealership (and some say there is no such thing), you can't do jack to the PCM.. I guess you could add some cool stickers, or maybe new floor mats.

Life was too short for me to wait - stock is boring, Yolo (wow, that just happened..)

I'm in the same boat; can't do much if you want the warrantee to be honored. Between GM, the Feds, and the State of AZ, I am "stock" for the next five years.

A 500 horse power 4,000 pound car is boring??? If it came from the factory at 800 HP would you leave it alone???

I've left mine alone and will until the warranty expires...Then I'll do whatever I want! If you want GM to cover any issues, then leave it alone - they'll look for any and all reasons not to cover a problem!!
