C7 competition seats in a C6 Corvette.

These seats look amazing.. Is your airbag light on or were you able to reprogram the module to ignore the seats? Did you end up cutting the harness on the car or the seats to make this work? I'm not too far from you if you'd be willing to assist in the wiring for $, granted I can find Comp seats.

Awesome job! Did you have to modify the seat rails to fit in the C6? Also, for a Vette w/o a roll cage, could the airbags in the seats be retained?

Why doesn't somebody create a Plug N Play harness from a C6 to C7 seat.

These seats did not come with heaters or the cooling fan. I had to order the C7 comp seat heaters and fans for these seats. You will have to use the thermostatic leads from the C6 heaters and wire them in the c7 heat pads (this is required to make the heaters kick on in the C6). After that...simply use the C6 logic box for the seat heaters and this will allow you to use the stock "heated seat" button on the console to control them.
Did the fans have any info on them? like RPM or flow rate? Where they the same thickness of the foam? Do they blow air up or suck air down? Finally do they have 4 holes in the corners like a typical pc fan? Thanks!!

How much are these seats new? I contacted one of the site vendors and was given an estimate of about $10,000 for both seats??

Used set on eBay for $2500 for the pair...ugly color though. Would need to have them recovered, but that would not be too difficult and one could make them customized to their C6.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-2015-Ch...xXbfn~&vxp=mtr

...I also saw another pair in black for $1500 but they looked they had been chewed on by a big dog. But again, one could have them custom recovered.

If the OP provides a write-up on the solution to the electrical difficulties this could become a trend

That would be awesome! I love the competition seats in a c6. That looks so great.

Would it theoretically be possible to get the airbags working?

Did you have a chance to compare the measurements of the C6Z06 and C7 competition seats?
If those were the same size, they would also fit in any C5.
