whats good for loosing up road kill, i got something behind my right wheel , on the fender, its like dried hard candy, splashed on it, its not coming off very easy, it will chip of a little at a time with your finger nail,

Repeated wash with soap and water won't touch it? If not I would try some bug and tar remover.
