Default Car feeling loose

I just put new tires on the rears yesterday (Hankook Ventus V12s) and had the brakes flushed at a local shop. However, driving on the freeway to work today the car felt a little looser than usual. Not sure if it's my imagination, of it was wind (didn't seen windy), out if the shop messed up with reinstalling the tires on the car. Typically, my steering is pretty tight and the car feels stable on the road. Today it felt like I was driving on a damp surface. With old tires. I recall checking theIl pressure on the tires being at 30 PSI, but I'll check again in case I'm wrong. However, on the drive home from the shop yesterday, the new tires did feel like they had a lot of grip with some spirited driving to test them out.

What brand and model were the old tires? Sidewall stiffness can play a huge role in how tight a car "feels".

Nitto Invos. They were pretty bald too by the time I replaced them with the Hankooks. They still stuck though with spirited driving. Probably had put about 20K on them.

Hopefully they torqued all the wheels up correctly.
I would check PSI
Did you have alignment changed?

They did what's called a "road force balance". It's pretty much an alignment involving camber, caster, and toe-in/toe-out.

RFB is usually just a wheel that mimics road forces when they balance the tires.

Alignment is separate.

Do you have different types of tires on the front and back?

Yes. I still have Nitto Invos on the front - they were installed last August, and with plenty of tread life remaining.

Drive the car for a while. It may just be the new rear tires need to get scuffed up (i.e. remove the new tire "glaze")?

Right there. ^
Z06s do not like mixed tires, weird behaviors have been reported when tried many times over the years. IOW it's not unprecedented for handling/ride issues using mixed tires. My 2 cents.

Mixing tires, and did they or did they not touch the alignment? As stated earlier, "Road Force Balance" only refers to balancing the wheel and tire combo, nothing to do with the alignment.
