[ZR1] Fair trade in price (or private sale) for ZR1
#21
Nice garage.....some tough choices with the list of cars you have. All good. But some quick thoughts since you asked: Grand Sport, yes very nice. But will it be that different from your ZR1? Yes the C7 may handle just a little better but the GS is not going to measure up power wise. Something that you will maybe miss. For me between the GS and ZR I would keep the ZR. Now the GT4 (a car I really like) kinda of the same thought here. Is it going to be that different from your GT3 since it has the Porsche family blood? I would go with the ACR. But I am a little prejudiced here. While I currently have a '13ZR1, I had an 08 GenIV Viper Coupe before. I loved that car as well. But unfortunately for me I can have only one toy at a time. I am seriously thinking of my next toy being an ACR built in their One of One program. You should think of it and check it out. It allows you to get an ACR with the GTS interiors and sound systems which are way better than the regular ACR interiors. Good luck in your decision, I wish I had such problems!

[QUOTE=05dsom;1592691798]haha...this is my garage...GT3 is anything but boring and is UNSTOPPABLE on track...458 is ridiculous but is for my wife as she thinks the ZR1 and GT3 are too low and too loud
Holy crap am I jealous! Beautiful cars! Well done sir!

While white is not my first choice of color for any car, your ZR1 is without a doubt stunning and I would take it in a heart beat! The white with black lights and accents is really jaw dropping. I wish I had the funds cause I'd take it and cherish it.
Make no mistake, it's a ZR1 and I'd make sure it ruled supreme at any challenge but it would never leave my hoard.
Glw your decision. I don't think I could get rid of it for even a viper, no matter the model. All the review videos I've watched, they beat the sh*t out of you on or off the track. C6 ZR1's are my first and only choice of hyper car.

I just leased a 1200 Sq/ft end unit in an industrial/warehouse complex.
I too ran out of room for what I currently have plus a few other things that are in the works.
Not sure what your plans are, but if you are bored with the ZR1, strip it back to stock or find a buyer, most likely you will get 15-25 cents on the dollar back on your mods.
Sucks, but most people want a stock car unless they are tracking or racing it.
Nice collection, lease a building with a lift or two, man cave the office area, that is what I am doing.
I would get the GT4, looked at one when I got my wife's Macan GTS, they are nice, all except the ridiculous Porsche prices !!!!
Your trade price at $69K if the car was stock, would be good on that one you have, with the mods it would hurt to trade in for that little.

I was reading your thread in o/t and unless viper...not sure you can do much better. Have you thought about putting a lift in your garage? Adding another garage? I say keep the ZR1

my car was a 2010 with the same miles and same interior.
Mine had a wrap and gmpp warranty that u might be able to say was worth as much as the lpe kit (in value for resale)
I got 66k but took me about 3 months to sell.
Dont go lower then $66k i would say. Anything higher take it. Dealers were offering me mid to high 50's for my car. Cant believe one offered a number that starts with a 6, let alone one that almost starts with a 7 for yours lol

Your garage is my dream garage. Very well done, I'd just swap the 458 for an Aventador and be perfect. I too am looking at Vipers and selling my ZR possibly but I'm not sure.. I have driven the hell out of mine so resale might not even be worth it.

Hold on to it if you can! For all that you have into it! ZR1s are rare around here

Why not just sell it privately. It doesn't seem like money is an issue, so just sell it on your own and get what you deserve for it and don't give it away to a dealer so they can make the profit on a flip?
Nice cars!

60-69 is right on the money for trade or private party sale imo.
I would for sure demod it if trading to dealer.
nice care lineup btw, wish I had your car budget ! If I did I would be living in one of the cars

He traded it, think it shipped out yesterday. I detuned it here at my shop and will be selling off the parts in the next few days. Seats & headers already gone. Will start a new post in a few days with a list & prices.
