Proof i dont totally suck, lol. Car no.22 spent most of the day in 3rd place in late-model group, and 5th overall. I eventually got bumped down one spot to 6th overall.
As usual we tried to find something fun to do in town after the race. There didnt appear to be much in the area so we just went for a walk near the hotel to a cool railroad bridge, solo cup in hand.
Just curious...does law enforcement give you a second look for the black/white color scheme when you're driving around?
Well i got pulled over in it. The REAL cop just asked "where did this car come from"? I just told him it sits in a garage up the road. He let me off for speeding. I took most of the cop decals off after that.
Small update. Time to change up the police car theme. It was fun for a while but the plan was always to go white with a black stripe. Spent July 4th alone in a paint booth sweating my butt of but the front clip is now white. Still plenty to do
Looks like you are having a good time with the car. The oil tank looks better than the ones you pay 400 bucks for. I have been looking at those wheels but never found a good pic of them on a Z, I like them. It was said earlier but the rockers are glued on, best thing to do is have the front fenders, doors, and rear quarters off and paint them like that they are a real pain to get off the car.

I'm really happy with the wheels and they are a lot cheaper then some of the 3-piece wheels I've owned in the past. Also lighter than my 3pc. wheels were.
