"As recently as 2015, General Motors (GM) continued to provide production lenses in limited quantities through the original OEM supplier.
However, in the summer of 2016, GM discontinued the production of not only the lenses but also the complete headlight assemblies. Currently, the only way to replace your headlights or lenses is sourcing through used/salvage channels."

We are running a kickstarter campaign to develop, produce, distribute, and retail Corvette C6 headlight lenses. We've already got a strong list with some contributors, but we've done almost no advertising other than some limited emails to folks that are interested.
Currently there are 15 pre-orders on this list comprised of 3 actual kickstarter backers and 12 pre-paid pre-orders.
In order for this to be successful, we need your help!
There are 4 ways to pre-order:
1) Kickstarter
2) Umnitza.com Site
3) Through C6Performance Site
4) Or by Calling us 877 486 6489
Happy to be on board
PS: We're not yet listed as a vendor but have already signed the contract with the forum owners to be listed as one. Please contact IB for details thanks
PPS: read through the bio on Kickstarter

To get this product on the road, we only need .2% of total vehicle production. That's right, not even 1% of total vehicles on the road are required to get this project off the ground. We know we can do it!

But we would like to insure that this community in particular and the overall community of C6 Corvette owners will be intrigued enough at the prospect to "pony up".
The good news is that Kickstarter backing doesn't mean you get billed for it up front. If the project doesn't reach critical mass, your purchase is refunded to you.

Hindsight being 20/10 in some cases, we can't guarantee they will be better. However, we will do our best to rely on our years of expertise with this vendor based on many headlights that they have already built for us that it should be better than the current manufacturing.
We're going to also introduce a serialized lens stamp so you'll know when the batch was built and probably a nicer design ...we're exploring a feature that new Honda/Stanley lenses have where they create a refractory section of the lens that lets light go to the corners and illuminates the road as you take turns a little better.

Don't confuse me with the other guy. I've been here for 10 years this coming September!
This is the production model that comes with the gasket installed. No need to worry with finding a gasket elsewhere or trying to reuse yours.
From about 3 weeks ago when production started I'm just waiting. Anticipating Mid to late February 2017
Butt Joint with be clean on the production gaskets.
Full details in this for sale thread here

Our production is slated for February 25th completion with many lenses being shipped shortly thereafter.
Here is the difference between our lenses and any other lenses being produced. We won't make any veiled references to either lenses, you decide which one works for you best and what price works for you. I can assure you all that we will have a great quality product.
Couple of important updates
1) We are working on DOT approval with the factory
2) We have over 85 pre-orders, if you have not submitted your order yet, please consider it.
3) February 25th is still looking strong but there is going to be "dead" time from tomorrow through Feb 4th, so other than us doing some more light testing and fitting, we will be going "dark" except for the occasional bump of a thread to entice more people to join in.
As mentioned elsewhere, we have been doing headlights for over 17 years now, one of the first innovators of customized headlight production ever. Being a trend setter hasn't always been easy, but it's been fun.
And to borrow a silly slogan,
"We will make your Corvette Headlights great again"
