Oil Change?
Always change oil every fall before I put the car away for 6-7 months(MN). This year only have 800 miles on it(mobil 1). Would you bother?

I wouldn't. You haven't run enough to break down the oil and dirty it. My $.02
And a shout out to a fellow MN'er. Almost time for the yearly hibernation.

Every 12 months, regardless of mileage.

No. How does one know how long the bottles of oil have been sitting on a shelf, in a warehouse, or who knows where before you buy it? Never seen a "use by" date on a quart of oil before. Does it go bad sitting in a bottle on a shelf?

This gets beat to death in the Honda Aquatrax forums, some claim moisture ruins the oil.
Ducati forums same thing.
Love my bikes and in no way would I let bad oil sit in them, and they average every two years for their oil changes. There is no need to do it yearly unless you have excess money to burn.
Now I live in a semi dry climate, as in not much humidity. Those who live in more humid places and possibly near an ocean, well YOUR miles may vary.

OP, if you have reason to believe that moisture condensed in the engine, then change it next spring just before you start it the first time. Otherwise, take an oil sample and have BL test it. I bet it comes back in fine shape.
The fellow that commented on humid areas or lake/ocean side is also right - change it - in the spring.

I would get it good and hot to cook out any water in the oil and put her to bed on a battery tender.
I would personally change it in the spring due to possible moisture issues through the winter, but not because of oil break down or any other non-sense.
