I did not look at the listing.

Just thought I'd mention that if someone wanted to (can't imagine why they would), you can bolt LS2/3/6 down to an LS7 short block, and use the same LS2/3/6 intake and exhaust manifolds. Get rid of the oil cooler (like many do anyway), and there you have a hybrid LS7 that appears just as this does. In fact, there is one particular guy who resides in Florida, and who has been banned multiple times from this forum who was strongly advocating the use of LS3 heads on the LS7 short block.

Why not just say "Chad"?

I'm guessing they're all standing around the car with the hood popped scratching their heads.

It's back up for sale again and listed as having had a LS2 engine installed.

Buy it now of $29,900. You have to read the ad closely to see the wording. It still states it has a 7.0L engine in it. Lower in the description it says "This particular one had the ls7 pulled and a high performance ls2 put in its place. This gives the car the power but with a bit more usability." It still states 7.0L engine in description. This is still a very misleading ad in my opinion. I figure with the LS7 missing its worth $25K ??

Yeah, it says 7.0L about 12 times in the add and LS2 once in the fine print..

We tried.. caveat emptor I suppose.

I'm thinking its worth way less than that...I would have zero confidence in that transplanted LS2. It could be a junk yard special with 150,000 miles. That car is worth as much as a Z06 with a blown LS7 IMO...sub $20K.

That happened to one of my friends customers that brought his car in for a tune. It just wasn't getting the dyno numbers of other 6.2 Camaro S/S with the same or even less mods. When the tuning began it quickly became apparent it simply was short of breath from being short on displacement. Ended up being a 5.3 (probable due to g/cyl of tune) or a 4.8 (difficult to tell) swapped in there, the take had a cover hiding it.

The ad still shows LS7 in the banner.
