Beautiful! I love the fact that it has very simplistic, yet effective mods. And that torque curve, wow!
Does it drive as well as it looks? Idle, low RPM driving, etc.

It drives beautifully. We've got the K501 cam tune well dialed in. Slight cam lug below 30mph and 1400rpm, but nothing really considering the size of the camshaft. Nothing's free and everything is a trade-off, but it's really minimal.

I'm interested in the Katech LS9X clutch and bleeder.... My setup will be around 530-540ish to the tires... Would that clutch be a good option for my power level?

Looks pretty amazing. What type of reliability can one expect vs. stock - is it foreseeable to put like 5-8K miles a year on a setup like this?
Is there a sound clip or video of this new build?
Thanks

Lug is not the same as surging or bucking, correct? Sorry, just trying to understand the terminology. Are you saying its basically just kind of "anemic" below those rpms, which is totally understandable?

The LS9X is good to 800lb-ft of torque so it has plenty of capacity for your application.

I don't have a sound clip of this particular car, but if you go to YouTube and search Katech K501 you'll get tons of videos with various exhaust systems.

Absolutely. We have many customers that put plenty of miles on them. Other than regular maintenance, I would just have a look at the valve springs and retainers every 20,000mi.

Why is the torque so low? 150 lbs less than HP. Why is that so unbalanced?
