Default C6 zo6 cam questions.

Hey guys, wanted to ask a few questions. So I want to purchase the BTR stage 4 cam kit but was wondering what type of springs should I get & what size push rods should I get? Also will I need to upgrade the lifters & treys? Do I need to upgrade the oil pump? Do I have to buy the 3 bolt sprocket or does it already come with the car? TIA!

Whatever BTR recommends for that cam. Should say on the site, or email/call them.

Trays/lifters are good if heads are coming off. If they are not, then you can't replace them anyways.

No need to touch oil pump.

Always have to measure for pushrods, so measure then order.

I would do a c5r/c7r chain while in there. ARP cam bolts too with locking plate.

Make sure to measure spring install height and shim to proper level. Rarely see that done around here.

I just installed this cam. The lifters technically dont need to be changed but i wanted 2 new metal pieces to wear together nicely. I changed the lifters to johnson 2110r. Tooley says gm lifters are totally fine. Check out my thread and you can see some of the things i did.

Pushrod length should be measured with any valvetrain changes. Cam swap, head swap, gasket thickness changes, lifter swap etc. Measure and then order according to the lifter specified preload.
