Default My 08 Z06

So I just purchased my 08Z two months ago and love it! I sold my previous car that I raced in SCCA and Optima and now this will be the new race car.

I have done a few track days and a few upgrades. So far Ive swapped rotors with Stoptech and brake pads to Carbotech. Flushed out the old brake fluid with Motul 600. Ditched the leaf springs and went with Penske Double adjustable coilovers. And swapped out the oem seat for a OMP full containment and harness.

So far the car handles great and has produced amazing times on the two tracks ive taken it on. Cant wait to see how she does with fresh tires on!

Sweet! What part of the country do you live in? I love the Optima events and should be at the finals in Vegas again this year- as a spectator only.

COTA looks like a great venue. A buddy here in NorCal has a C6 Z06 that is very competitive in the Optima series- he won the points chase in his group and took 3rd at the finals. Your Z06 should be a serious contender. Lucky guy.

Looks great and nice work. I love seeing our cars driven as they were meant to be...and nice choices on the upgrades. If you aren't going with a full cage, you may want to consider a BK bar or Sharkbar, lapbar and a harness. I did the BK bar and it is a solid unit.
