[ZR1] Another CPR built ZR1 underway!

Default Another CPR built ZR1 underway!

This ZR1 is owned by a customer in Oregon who has a C6Z we did awhile ago our Alpha heads/cam package on. Well he just dropped off this beautiful bone stock ZR1 for the following setup.

-CPR Spec cam 231/247 .638/.632 117 LSA
-Advanced induction ported heads (milled)
-CPR ported supercharger and OEM inlet
-NW 102 TB
-K&N Carbon intake
-ARH 2'' longtubes
-2.3 griptec upper/ 14% lower
-Alky control meth kit
-FIC 127lb injectors
-101 octane in the tank
-Mantic Triple clutch
-Dedicated motorsports HX system
-Modified bricks
-Smith brother trunions
-C7 Z shifter assembly
- RSD line lock
-Mighty mouse catch can


We will update this thread with tear down pictures and the before and after graph when done.

Great build.

And if I had to guess as a relative ZR1 newbie, should be a solid 800-840 RWHP I'd guess. Maybe more since I haven't seen too many ported blower builds in addition to the Heads/Cam/FBO.

because it feels amazing, short shifts, super smooth, and not hard to hit 5th in a half mile like most aftermarket shifters. It's truly my favorite setup.

Hmm...didn't realize the design differs that much from the C6 shifter assembly. Figured the shift gates in the trans is where all the improvements would be made. I replaced the stock (POS S-10 pickup truck) shifter in my old C5Z with a C6 assembly, and it was most certainly an upgrade...but it still didn't feel like my C6Z does.

ya i have the c7z shifter in my c5 and it's absolutely perfect.
